Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a permanent, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026.

The School
Ridge View Secondary College (SC) is seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly competent, and enthusiastic English teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. Our college embraces our motto of ‘Believe’, ‘Aspire’ and ‘Pride’ across the board, and we are looking for a teacher who will promote these core values.
The English department is a learning area that prides itself on its collegiality and support; staff can expect a range of development and coaching opportunities to help them reach their professional goals. In addition, staff can expect to be involved in a range of curriculum development and leadership roles, whilst there are opportunities for suitable teachers to teach Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) English in the future.
The successful applicant will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school English curriculum. As part of this role the English teacher should engage and build productive working relationships with students and be involved collaboratively with your colleagues to improve student results.
Similarly, the successful applicant should have the ability to work collaboratively to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans. You will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
