Senior English Teacher
Christway College Kingston is seeking applicants for a Senior English Teacher position for January 2026. This position is ongoing, part-time or full-time, with time fraction negotiable.
Salary scale: $80,000-$120,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the English curriculum to students in a manner consistent with the College’s mission and Christian context.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student welfare, community connectivity, and parent partnership.
- Utilise relevant technological skills to enhance teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and committed Christian with church involvement.
- Experience delivering English in a secondary or compatible setting.
- Ability to deliver subject area effectively within a Christian context.
- Pastoral mindset aimed at student welfare and holistic development.
- Full CV including personal details, church involvement, career experience, and academic attainments.
- Three referees listed, including one church reference demonstrating active Christian faith.

About Christway College Kingston
Christway College Kingston is an independent, Christian co-educational school for students from Prep to Year 12. The College is located in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne, about a 30-minute drive from the Melbourne CBD and has a current enrolment of 370 students. We believe in a holistic education where academic learning is balanced with the pursuit of spiritual, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
