
Rope Access Technician

We are looking for experienced Rope Access Technicians to join our Mining – Geotechnical team across our Western Australia operations.
Casual positions with FIFO arrangements from Perth and flexible rosters – day shift only.
The Role
This role involves using specialized techniques and equipment to access and perform tasks in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rope access works, ensuring projects run smoothly and according to scope
- Rope access equipment inspections and pre-use checks
- Installation of ground support anchors, mesh and accessories
- Scaling via Rope Access
- Grouting/Concreting/ Shotcreting
- Implement testing where required/requested
- Liaising with the Site Manager/Supervisor regarding any issues
- Operating equipment such as pneumatic drills & telehandlers
- Maintaining all equipment
The successful applicant will have:
- Rope Access Level 1, 2 or 3 IRATA Certification
- Geotechnical experience
- C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Work Safely at Heights Certification
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance

- Elevated Work Platform Certification
- Heavy Rigid Licence
- Rigging License
