VGA is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced truck driver to represent VGA in all aspects of Vehicle Handover (VHO) and Product Training. This is your chance to embrace a new challenge as a Vehicle Handover and Product Trainer and become a product expert, representing the Volvo, Mack, and UD Trucks brands while supporting customers and dealers through the delivery process and enhancing their understanding of our vehicles.
In this role, you will work closely with the Vehicle Handover and Driver Development Manager to develop and implement VHO strategies that enhance customer satisfaction across all three brands. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for VHO support, driving an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities:
- Support change management for VHO processes and collaborate with central teams to implement best practices locally.
- Serve as the Vehicle Handover expert for Volvo, Mack, and UD Trucks, aligning techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist dealers with fleet deliveries and provide on-the-job VHO training to dealer representatives.
- Develop and deploy VHO training curricula with the Driver Development Manager and Competence Development team.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Volvo Group Truck products, features, benefits, and usage.
- Collaborate with the Driver Development Manager to tailor training based on identified areas for improvement.
- Promote driver education programs to ensure safe and efficient truck operation, including alternative energy sources.
Who are you?
- MC Combination driving license with experience driving trucks across various applications.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with customers and dealers.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively showcase products.
- Experience or enthusiasm for training, with a keen interest in developing others.
- A customer satisfaction mindset, always striving to exceed customer expectations and enhance their experience.
- Availability to visit customers and dealers to support VHO and product training initiatives.
