Area Asset Manager – Narrabeen, Sydney, Australia (Permanent)

Reporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role represents an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in property and asset management in a complex, meaningful environment—one where your decisions contribute directly to safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, and the long-term success of our residential and community-based services.
Responsibilities
- Optimising asset performance ensuring safety and quality compliance, and lifecycle cost performance based upon sound asset management principles, annual business planning and budget formulation
- Implementing minor capital works, refurbishments, and maintenance strategies
- Embedding sustainability and risk management into assets and their operations
- Partnering with stakeholders to align built-form outcomes with resident and operational needs
- Supporting the implementation of a forward-looking and market leading Asset Management Framework
Collaboration
You will work closely with Compliance, Maintenance, and Refurbishment teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality outcomes. This is not just about maintaining assets—it/'s about enabling environments where residents and employees can thrive.
What we expect you to have
- Significant and demonstrable experience in a building/facilities management role including project management
- Knowledge of aged care maintenance operations and standards (advantageous but not essential)
- High levels of communication, people and contractor management, influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience with multiple trades, building and contractor risk, WHS, essential fire safety measures, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services
- Experience coordinating contracted resources and emergency response
- Australian work rights and a valid Australian driving licence
