This also includes advice on compliance with the Fair Work Act, Privacy Act, Work Health and Safety Act (NSW) and associated regulations in Australia and corresponding regimes in the Asia Pacific region.
- Proactively stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments which impact Susquehanna as an employer in the Asia Pacific Region and work with internal stakeholders to develop timely responses to those developments.
- Update and draft workplace policies and handbooks.
- Draft and negotiate contracts of employment and related documentation.
- Develop and deliver training on employment law topics.
- Manage relationships with external counsel as needed.
- Work closely with other members of the Susquehanna legal team and key business stakeholders such as the Human Resources Team, business heads and other senior business leaders to implement the goals above.
- May undertake general legal matters which affect the Susquehanna business across the Asia Pacific region, including for example advising on privacy law.
