Advanced Practitioner – Social Work Academy Team

Sanctuary Personnel, a recruitment agency, has a permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Social Work Academy Team, based in Northamptonshire.

The salary for this position is up to £44,911 per annum.

- Supervise and manage newly qualified social workers, providing mentoring, reflective supervision, and professional development in accordance with the Social Workers Academy’s teaching programme.
- Support Team Managers in managing workload, service provision, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery, using the Signs of Safety model of practice.
- Contribute to the learning and development of the Academy by managing the interface between Higher Education Institute and training/workplace situations, and quality assuring practice learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to evidence practice assessment of NQSW’s, and improve casework quality through case file audits and feedback.
- Provide accurate information to the Team Manager, assisting with establishing and utilising information systems for best practice and quality assurance.
- Develop effective working partnerships with other agencies to ensure positive outcomes for service users.
- Deliver professional leadership and education for social workers, ensuring excellent standards of practice and service delivery.
- Ensure reasonable care for health, safety, and welfare, complying with departmental policies and procedures.
- Carry out other duties as required, demonstrating awareness of equal opportunities and diverse needs.

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England Registration.
- Experience within Children’s Services.
- Full Driver’s Licence and use of a vehicle.
