Lifecare Homecare provides allied health services to clients in their homes. We are seeking a Graduate Physiotherapist to join our Homecare team.
You will receive on-the-job support, including buddy days with other therapists and supervision by our clinical leaders, and with on-the-job feedback, you will have the freedom to manage your schedule without being bound to an office. Your varied caseload will include NDIS, workers compensation and veterans' affairs.
Every day will look different at Lifecare Homecare... but as a Graduate Physiotherapist, you will be:
- Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home
- Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care
- Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers
- Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP’s, community centres and other referrers
Why is Lifecare Homecare right for you?
We want to take this opportunity to be a pivotal part of your first steps into the world of work, and your future career. We value our people, guaranteeing an attractive salary package with a host of other benefits to ensure you can flourish with Lifecare:
- A supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Generous travel payment on top of your remuneration
- No weekend work
- Monthly training to support you on your learning journey
- Access to purchase additional leave
- Paid Parental Leave benefits
- Discounted Health Insurance
- Fitness Passport
- Ability to experience the various APM Group Health brands to broaden your skill set and career growth
What we’re looking for in our future graduates:
Your ability to communicate effectively, coupled with a keen eye for detail and core time management skills, will put you in a fantastic position to thrive within our team at Lifecare Homecare.
Most importantly, we want to support graduates who truly want to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives by developing your business acumen and helping you achieve your targets, inside and outside the workplace.
We require you to have:
- A degree in Physiotherapy
- Full registration with AHPRA, upon graduating
- Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in early 2026
- A pre-employment national criminal check, prior to employment
- A valid Working with Children clearance (this is a NDIS requirement, this job does not involve a paedeatric caseload)
- A NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
- A full drivers’ license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
