The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Rural Generalist Specialist to join the Connecting the Docs collaborative and explore career opportunities within our partner health services. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, perfect for clinicians eager to contribute to comprehensive rural healthcare. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will:

- Deliver broad-scope generalist medical care across emergency, inpatient, and primary care settings.
- Mentor rural generalist trainees and junior doctors in both procedural and non-procedural skills.
- Provide continuity of care, building lasting relationships with patients and their families.
- Participate actively in community health initiatives and outreach clinics.
- Support rural healthcare sustainability through leadership, advocacy, and service innovation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
- Lead quality improvement projects tailored to the specific needs of rural communities.
