The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Rural Generalist Specialist to join the Connecting the Docs collaborative and explore career opportunities within our partner health services.
This role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, perfect for clinicians eager to contribute to comprehensive rural healthcare.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will: Deliver broad-scope generalist medical care across emergency, inpatient, and primary care settings.
Mentor rural generalist trainees and junior doctors in both procedural and non-procedural skills.
Provide continuity of care, building lasting relationships with patients and their families.
Participate actively in community health initiatives and outreach clinics.
Support rural healthcare sustainability through leadership, advocacy, and service innovation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
Lead quality improvement projects tailored to the specific needs of rural communities.
