Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Prepare detailed cost forecasts and financial reports for ongoing projects.
- Analyse variances between actual and planned costs, identifying key trends and issues.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions and project cost estimates.
- Provide financial insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Continuously improve cost engineering practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

- A degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- CA or CPA Qualification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial modelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and project teams.
- Experience in the professional services industry, particularly in accounting and finance, is highly regarded.
