Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
  • Prepare detailed cost forecasts and financial reports for ongoing projects.
  • Analyse variances between actual and planned costs, identifying key trends and issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
  • Support the preparation of tender submissions and project cost estimates.
  • Provide financial insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Continuously improve cost engineering practices and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • A degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA Qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and financial modelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Experience in the professional services industry, particularly in accounting and finance, is highly regarded.
