An exciting opportunity exists for an Extruder Operator based at CopRice Leeton. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.
Duties:
- Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to standard
- Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products
- Following production plans and adjusting to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply
What you will need:
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Mechanical Aptitude
Required Competencies include:
- Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending is required throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members
Hours
From now until January 2026 hours will be Monday to Friday 6.00am – 2.00pm and then Mid-January 2026 will move to the 24/7 continuous roster which is to two days on (6am – 6pm) and two nights on (6pm – 6am) and then four days off.
