About the role

SWK has a rewarding opportunity for a Kerb Machine Operator to join the team.

The Kerb Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the kerbing machine to produce high-quality kerb in accordance with project specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Kerb Machine Operator to carry out a variety of tasks including:

- Set out and prepare sites for kerb machine operation, including stringline setup, levels, and alignment.
- Operate kerb machines including the Slipform and Extruder, safely and efficiently to produce consistent, high-quality kerb.
- Conduct pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and cleaning of kerb machines and associated plant and materials.
- Organise and coordinate materials such as concrete supply, and moulds
- Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and organised condition at all times.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

- Minimum 5 years of experience in concreting, kerbing, or civil construction (required)
- Experience operating kerbing machines including the Slipform and Extruder
- Demonstrated understanding of site setup, levels, and line control for kerbing
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- A valid Construction White Card
- Ability to travel to the Yard (Narellan) or site
- Working rights in Australia
