We are seeking an experienced Senior Website Designer to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will lead the design of website interfaces and digital assets, with a strong emphasis on user experience, responsive layouts, and brand consistency. You will work directly with clients, the Creative Director, and developers to bring design concepts to life.

Responsibilities

- Design and prototype user-friendly website interfaces, focusing on clear navigation, responsive design, and tailored audience engagement.
- Translate client briefs into website design concepts and prepare detailed design documentation for development handover.
- Collaborate with developers to review and refine website builds, ensuring visual accuracy and cross-platform compatibility.
- Create digital-first assets for websites, social media, presentations, and campaigns, maintaining a consistent visual identity.
- Ensure ALT Agency’s brand integrity across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct research into emerging digital design trends and technologies to enhance agency practices.
- Manage web design projects end-to-end, coordinating with the Creative Director and clients.
- Provide occasional design support for print collateral, where relevant to campaigns.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in web design and digital design.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Design, Web Design, or a related creative field (Master’s preferred).
- Advanced expertise in Figma (frameworks, prototyping, and developer-ready briefs).
- High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web standards.
- Proven ability to collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and responsive implementation of designs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing websites, digital interfaces, and cross-platform assets.
