About the service

The Clinical Services Manager role supports sites within Qld, across a number of service models.

Role Overview

The Clinical Services Manager will have a pivotal role in the overall leadership and management of integrated services teams in accordance with operational guidelines, including:

- Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing services dispersed across QLD in Caboolture, Springwood, Paddington, Gympie, Hervey Bay & Rockhampton.

- Overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical, financial, administrative systems and billing processes

- Ensuring the service teams operate within a framework of continuous quality improvement and risk management.

- Facilitating and convening meetings of the Clinical Governance Committees and associated subcommittees.

Requirements

- Must have one of the following: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a mental health service

- Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model

- Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals/stakeholders.

- Highly-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.

- Ability to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment and to exercise judgment and initiative.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue card

- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance

- Current Drivers License
