The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to work on a rotating shift basis, ensuring that our plant and machinery are properly maintained and operating efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance and be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Shift: Rotating shift pattern

12 - hour Shift Electrician – 5-day rotation

Key Responsibilities

- Identify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipment

- Inspect, test, and maintain machinery, equipment, electrical and electronic infrastructure in process and packaging areas

- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic infrastructure and equipment

- Install and commission new equipment

- Coordinate and liaise with contractors and other staff

- Perform tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Area Leader or their designates

We're looking for someone with

- Dual instrument/electrical trade or at least electrical trade with instrument experience

- Full unrestricted and valid QLD Electrical Mechanics’ licence

- Mechanical experience highly regarded

- Forklift license beneficial

- Work at Heights and Confined Space Entry licenses (current)

- White card certificate

- Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in an industrial maintenance environment

- Experience with SCADA System & PLC controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens)

- Strong problem-solving analytical skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Hands-on approach and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
