Salary: Level 1, $1,191.20 - $1,210.80 per week (pro-rata) (GS (Misc.) GA 2025)

We have 2 x permanent part-time (0.38FTE) positions commencing Term 1, 2026

The school’s values and beliefs form a strong foundation for its organisation and operation. Ranford Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School located in the suburb of Canning Vale. We currently have 650 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. In 2014, the school received a Department of Education of Western Australia Certificate of Excellence, acknowledging that the teaching and learning programs, leadership and learning environment was of an exemplary standard as determined by an independent expert review panel. The school has been recognised as a Quality Teaching Strategy (QTS) Lead School and has a strong culture of collaboration and promotes high expectations.

Responsibilities

As a Cleaner you will carry out both internal and external cleaning duties. Internal cleaning includes the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting. External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas and cobweb removal.

You will also participate in vacation cleaning which includes stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of undercover areas and verandas, and other such duties as directed by the Cleaner-In-Charge.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful for this role you will ideally have a good attention to detail and will be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. The successful applicants will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have good knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
