Job Description

Support Workers/Care Team required to join our growing care team for our clients all across metropolitan Melbourne.

Multiple shift types are available, and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required for the client.

ATZ Care is Family owned, Family operated and always support & care focused.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, we require you to hold:

1. Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care
2. NDIS Worker Screening Check
3. National Police Check
4. Working with Children Check
5. First Aid certificate and CPR
6. NDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)
7. Eligibility to work in Australia
8. Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence
9. Current full Driver’s license

Competencies and Experience:

1. Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
2. Previous experience supporting People with Disability.
3. Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Ability to prioritise effectively and organise own work/caseload.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

- Pay rates vary based on the day of the week & shift type, but rest assured we like to recognise our carers' skills & experience. Our Support Worker rates typically exceed the SCHADS award rates + penalties.
