Purpose:

Our Frontline Service Team role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in all areas of club operations, including food and beverage service, gaming, events, cashiering and general club duties. This role requires flexibility, professionalism and a commitment to ensuring a safe, enjoyable and welcoming environment for members and guests.

What You’ll Be Doing

Food and Beverage Service

- Greet and serve members and guests in a professional, friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders, process payments and deliver orders promptly
- Assist with bar service, including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Clear and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards

Gaming Operations

- Assist patrons with gaming machine operations and payouts while adhering to responsible gambling guidelines
- Refill and clean gaming machines, ensuring smooth operations
- Monitor gaming areas for responsible gambling compliance in alignment with laws and club policies
- Provide guidance on the club's self-exclusion program and escalate issues as needed
- Take food and drink orders from gaming patrons, process payments and deliver orders promptly

Cash Handling and Transactions

- Accurately handle cash, EFTPOS, and other forms of payment.
- Perform end-of-shift reconciliations and maintain transaction records.
- Operate POS systems efficiently

Customer Service

- Respond to member and guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- Handle complaints or disputes professionally, escalating as required
- Maintain knowledge of club events, promotions, and services to assist patrons effectively

General Duties

- Monitor the cleanliness and safety of all public areas
- Assist with club promotions and events
- Follow security and compliance protocols, including ID checks and RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) adherence

Qualifications and Certifications

- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification (essential)
- Current RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certification (essential)
- Current ARCG (Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certification (desirable)
- Experience in hospitality, gaming, or a similar environment (desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
