Responsibilities

As the HR System Specialist, you will be responsible for streamlining HR processes and ensuring the integrity and functionality of our HRIS in a fixed term role. You’ll support data management, reporting, and analytics, while troubleshooting system issues, implementing new functionality, and coordinating system upgrades. Your work will help enhance HR efficiency and provide valuable insights to support business decisions.

- Provide support & guidance to operational and service teams on HRIS usage.

- Organisation & location set up based on business requirements and new partnerships.

- Manage system changes including new starter set up, team member movement, workflow and process updates and any configuration to support the changes.

- Investigate technical issues and support system-related projects.

- Lead system and user testing on issues, new functionality and process changes.

- Monitor system performance and ensure data validation.

- Respond to HRIS queries and maintain up-to-date team member records.

- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.

- Collaborate with the People Systems team to improve business systems and processes.

- Lead and deliver business improvement solutions for management and team members.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Business Admin or Technical stream (preferred)

- Previous experience using or supporting an HRIS (ideally Dayforce)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders

- Experience in developing reporting requirements and analytics dashboards.

- Experience with Dayforce (preferred).

- Full Australian working rights.
