Overview

This position will be responsible for providing critical support to our field sales organization related to the review of customer sales/service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, formal bid responses, and other general customer correspondence. You will business partner regularly with our legal, senior management, strategic accounts, and risk management departments, as well as our order services, finance, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Draft, evaluate, propose, and negotiate alternative terms taking into account both the needs and expectations of our customers while minimizing our business risk and meeting our corporate objectives.
2. Negotiate directly with customer contracts/procurement staff ensuring incorporation of input from legal and other respective groups within the company and ensure timely review, approval, and turnaround of contracts.
3. Work with Finance and order services to ensure adherence to broader requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, compliance with internal controls, etc.

Qualifications

- BS degree and 5+ years of related experience in contract negotiations, preferably in a sales organization.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications as the position interacts regularly with customers, cross-functional teams, and management.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
