Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City ofMandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west,known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licensed beds, bays and treatment areas.

SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and healthservices within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 squarekilometres across the southern half of Perth.

Currently we are seeking a Social Worker to join our team. The successful applicant/s will be responsiblefor providing a high quality, social work service to all inpatientand outpatients of the hospital as required including assessment,treatment, evaluation and planning and manages a designated case load. As part of a multidisciplinary team provides Social Work services to patients. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. Practices as a Social Worker as per the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards 2013 and Code of Ethics 2010 and/or the Society of Professional Social Workers Code of Ethics and SMHS Policies and Guidelines.
