We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Gantries with strong expertise in structural steel fabrication and installation, ideally within brownfield environments.

We’re transforming the Eastern Freeway with major upgrades that will make travel smoother, safer, and more connected for the east. Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage design, procurement, and construction activities to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee quality, commercial, and contract compliance, including variations, procurement systems, and cost forecasting.
- Support construction delivery through technical reviews, development of construction documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, driving capability development, performance, and effective collaboration across teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and high standards of performance.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure constructions projects for state authorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Current C-Class Driver’s License.

Additional notes

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
