Perfect Attire Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Retail Store Manager who possesses a unique blend of exceptional sales acumen, deep knowledge of bespoke menswear, and practical pattern making and alteration skills in a CAD environment. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sales, providing unparalleled customer service through personalized fittings and style advice, and leveraging technical skills to draft and alter patterns for each client/'s measurements. The Store Manager will shape retail strategy, manage resources, and build a high-performing team as Perfect Attire expands.

Salary note: Competitive salary in the range of AUD $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

- Strategic Retail Management

- Determining product mix: Collaborate with design and production teams to showcase a compelling and relevant selection of Perfect Attire/'s offerings.

- Managing stock levels: Implement strategies to optimize fabric and accessory inventory to meet client demand while minimizing waste.

- Defining service standards: Establish and maintain the highest levels of customer service, reflecting the bespoke nature of the brand.

- Formulating purchasing policies: Oversee procurement of retail supplies and contribute to fabric sourcing decisions.

- Developing marketing policies: Contribute to the creation and implementation of marketing strategies to attract and retain target clientele.

- Setting prices: Provide input on pricing strategies to ensure profitability and competitiveness in the luxury bespoke market.

- Sales & Customer Relationship Management

- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a personalized and exceptional experience.

- Provide expert style advice and guide clients through fabric selection, design options, and tailoring details.

- Sell goods and services to customers and advise them on product use and care.

- Manage and follow up on client orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

- Bespoke Pattern Making & Alterations

- Accurately take client measurements.

- Draft bespoke garment patterns in CAD software based on client measurements and design specifications.

- Perform pattern alterations in CAD to ensure a perfect fit.

- Collaborate with the in-house production team to communicate pattern details and ensure accurate execution.

- Retail Operations & Management

- Oversee all aspects of retail store operations, including opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising, and maintaining a presentable store environment.

- Process payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

- Maintain detailed records of stock levels and client orders.

- Undertake budgeting for the establishment and manage expenses effectively.

- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within the retail space.

- Team Leadership & Training

- Control the selection, training, and supervision of retail staff.

- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

- Train new retail staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service protocols, and basic tailoring concepts.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Brand Representation

- Promote and advertise Perfect Attire/'s goods and services within the store and potentially at external events.

- Act as a brand ambassador for Perfect Attire, embodying our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and personalized service.

- Represent Perfect Attire at relevant industry events or networking opportunities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a menswear sales role, preferably within the luxury or bespoke tailoring sector.
- Demonstrable knowledge and passion for bespoke menswear, including fabrics, garment construction, and tailoring techniques.
- Proven experience in taking accurate client measurements.
- Strong proficiency in drafting and altering patterns using CAD software (specify software in application).
- Excellent understanding of garment fit and alteration principles.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience in managing retail operations, including inventory, budgeting, and financial transactions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, training, and supervising a team.
- A thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
