Overview
Join Macquarie Capital as a Data Modeler and help shape the future of our data landscape. You’ll establish robust data modelling practices, drive strategic architecture, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enable business growth and resilience.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
In this role, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver authoritative data models. You’ll champion data modelling standards and best practices, using ErWin and related tools to ensure quality and consistency, and conduct data architecture assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Additionally, you’ll design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, supported by clear documentation, and implement and monitor data architecture controls, managing risks and deviations. You’ll partner with Group Data Office and Enterprise Data Management teams to operationalise data strategy, standards, and controls, and participate in architecture forums and review boards to help shape group-wide data initiatives.
