Overview

Peninsula Plus is seeking a warm, friendly front-of-house professional who is highly organised, efficient and able to multi-task while prioritising deadlines. This role supports our therapists by ensuring a seamless client experience and effective communication within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

About Peninsula Plus

We are located on the Mornington Peninsula with three clinics: Mornington, Frankston and Dromana. Our team comprises Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Specialists and a customer service team of 10. The environment is cooperative and multidisciplinary, offering varied professional experiences, with a highly supportive team of professionals.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Customer Service team handles dynamic communication and organisation of support systems that enable therapists to provide the best service to clients and ensure a seamless experience. The front-of-house team is the clients’ first point of contact and represents the face of Peninsula Plus. The successful candidate will be:

- Warm, friendly and personable
- Highly organised, efficient and capable of multitasking while prioritising competing deadlines
- Able to pause for small interactions with clients and parents as appropriate
- Strong interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence
- Effective communicator with clients, referrers and team members
- Collaborative, able to work in a team and communicate with a diverse range of people while remaining professional
- Capable of prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing processes with accountability
- Knowledge and experience with Medicare claiming and related hardware/software
- Strong IT/computer skills; experience with practice management software; comfortable in a paper-free environment
- Experience in medical reception or equivalent environment

- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
