About the role

The Group Finance Director is a newly created, strategically significant role reporting directly to the CFO. As a senior member of the global Finance team, you will lead and modernise a large finance function comprising 20 professionals across statutory and ASX reporting, financial control, Board reporting, tax and treasury, as well as oversight of 80 shared services staff. Partnering closely with the Commercial Finance Director, you will embed best practice, streamline processes, and ensure finance is positioned as a true enabler of the organisation’s growth strategy. You will also contribute to M&A and corporate finance activity.

About you

You are a CA/CPA-qualified senior finance leader who combines technical excellence with commercial acumen and strong people leadership. With experience gained in ASX-listed or multinational organisations and/or the Big 4, you bring deep expertise in statutory and ASX reporting, audit, and governance, alongside broader capability in tax, treasury, cashflow, and shared services. Importantly, you are an authentic leader who inspires and develops teams, builds trusted stakeholder relationships, and communicates complex matters with clarity. Adaptable and proactive, you thrive in dynamic environments, bring curiosity and innovation to challenges, and balance purpose with commercial outcomes.
