What you’ll do:
- Provide strategic leadership to maintain an infrastructure strategy and investment roadmap that delivers and manages a modern, secure, and cost-effective mix of IT and OT infrastructure aligned with enterprise architecture, strategy, service expectations, and legislative obligations.
- Maintain oversight of proposed changes to the technology landscape, ensuring services deployed onto infrastructure are well architected and sustainable.
- Ensure the availability, integrity, performance and security of IT and OT infrastructure. Plan and deliver lifecycle management of infrastructure hardware and services.
- Manage contracts, vendor performance and relationships. Develop and execute operational processes, including backups, security patching, database administration, service provisioning, and support in accordance with cyber security maturity framework requirements.
- Establish, maintain and operate plans, procedures, and technologies to detect, analyse, and respond to infrastructure events and to respond to and sustain operations throughout a disaster. Manage cyber security and technology incident response teams.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and promoting client focussed service delivery in a mid‑sized, complex and geographically diverse ICT environment.
- Extensive experience and a working knowledge of the management of an ICT infrastructure or Operations team in alignment with best practice.
- Proven leadership and staff resource management skills in an IT environment, including people, process & technology management skills.
- Proven experience in the successful negotiation and management of contracts & external vendor management.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
