We’re opening a brand-new, comprehensive radiology clinic in the heart of Launceston’s health hub , set to launch in April 2026 . This is your opportunity to play a key role from day one.
As Chief Radiographer , you’ll lead a small, dedicated team (2–3 staff initially) and help shape the clinic’s future as it grows. Enjoy Monday–Friday, daytime hours in a state-of-the‑art facility designed to deliver exceptional patient care and imaging excellence.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership position at the very start of an exciting new venture. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll have the chance to shape the clinic’s clinical direction, establish best practices, and build a supportive, high‑performing team culture from the ground up.
As Chief Radiographer, you’ll combine your clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and service excellence in a brand‑new, purpose‑built environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of radiographers in a fast‑growing, supportive environment
- Oversee daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices and drive service excellence
- Support the introduction and optimisation of advanced imaging technologies
- Champion continuous professional development and innovation within the team

- Qualified radiographer with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in radiology settings
