Job Description

Reporting directly to the Managing Director - ANZ, the Finance Director position will act a critical role in overseeing the financial integrity and performance of the organisation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards while driving financial excellence across the ANZ region. You will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and performance across the region. You'll also lead a high-performing finance team, manage statutory reporting, and provide strategic insights to both local and international stakeholders.

Other key responsibilities will include the following:

- Provide strategic financial leadership and drive the organisation's financial goals across ANZ.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial operations.
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Oversee cash flow, cost control, and risk management activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will ideally have:

- Extensive experience in similar senior financial leadership roles within the industrial, manufacturing, and import & distribution sectors, serving as a strategic commercial partner to senior leadership and operations teams in a complex multinational corporate environment
- Strong commercial acumen and a hands-on leadership style
- Strong qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred).
- Exceptional strategic and analytical skills with a focus on delivering results.
- Comprehensive understanding of international GAAP, including experience applying these standards within a corporate financial reporting and compliance environment
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems to streamline operations.
- Previous experience working with SAP would be advantageous
