Platform Engineer – Python | GCP | Kubernetes

Melbourne | Hybrid (1 day in office)

We're looking for a
Platform Engineer
who loves working at the intersection of software engineering and cloud infrastructure. You'll join a
small, high-impact team
where ownership is encouraged, ideas are heard, and you'll get the space to truly make your mark.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and building
    Python backend services
    to support scalable platforms.
  • Owning and optimising
    infrastructure in GCP
    (we're open to other cloud experience too).
  • Building and maintaining
    CI/CD pipelines
    to keep delivery smooth and automated.
  • Running and improving
    Kubernetes clusters in production
    .
  • Collaborating with a team of amazing engineers who thrive on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Strong Python engineering skills with a backend focus.
  • Experience with
    cloud infrastructure
    (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure welcome).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Kubernetes in production
    .
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD tooling and best practices
    .
  • A team player who values ownership, autonomy, and delivering impact.
