About the Role
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for building high-impact partnerships? Join Origin as a Partnerships Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our market share in the SME segment. You’ll lead the development and optimisation of third-party business sales partnerships—driving acquisition, retention, and growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This is a senior sales leadership role within our Retail Business team, where you’ll unlock new channels, products, and customer value propositions. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong commercial acumen, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, resellers, and strategic alliances.
- Develop joint business plans to drive co-marketing, sales enablement, and pipeline growth.
- Build performance frameworks including KPIs, incentives, and training programs.
- Lead business case development and go/no-go decisions for new market entries.
- Drive indirect channel sales and execute go-to-market strategies in alignment with company goals.
- Manage partner contracts and ensure compliant onboarding and governance.
- Develop forecasts, pipeline metrics, and performance reports for partnership sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support joint initiatives and campaigns.
About You
- You’re a driven and commercially savvy professional with a proven ability to build and scale partnerships that deliver measurable results. You’re confident working independently, influencing stakeholders, and solving complex problems with strategic insight.
- Proven experience in business development, channel sales, or partnership management, ideally gained in the energy sector or aligned.
- Strong understanding of energy sector value chains and customer buying behaviour.
- Proven success in launching new channels and partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Contract management and governance experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, sales, marketing, or strategy (desirable).
