Senior Home Finance Manager

Overview
Senior Lending Manager - North Melbourne area. Champion a proactive, results-driven approach to achieving sales targets and business growth goals. Drive new business by identifying opportunities, pursuing leads, and building strong connections.
What’s the role?
As a Senior Lending Manager, your primary goal is to assist everyday Australians in achieving their dream of homeownership. You will guide clients through the home loan process, emphasising exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance, and accurately submitting loans. These roles offer the flexibility to organise your weekly schedule, allowing you to actively engage with customers. You will proactively identify and engage potential referrals through targeted outreach strategies and networking, generating new business opportunities from the ground up.
What do I need?
Our Senior Lending Managers thrive by building strong, trust-based relationships—starting with a robust referral network of external partners. We’re seeking a seasoned professional with deep lending expertise and a proven ability to grow and maintain high-value networks that consistently deliver results.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in lending, ideally in a senior capacity, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end home lending process.
- A well-established network of referral partners—and the ability to provide evidence of how these relationships have driven business growth.
- A track record of sales and business development success, particularly within financial services or lending.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to manage a dynamic pipeline.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a talent for creating long-term, positive client and partner relationships.
- A self-starter mindset with ambition and a collaborative spirit—you see yourself as a key contributor to team success.
This is a role for someone ready to hit the ground running, leveraging their experience and relationships to make an immediate impact.
We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life
We’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal. In return we’re committed to making Westpac the best place to work. Here are just a few of the ways we’re already doing that:
- Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates
- Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave.
- Tailored learning and development opportunities to help your grow your career within the bank.
- Lots of opportunities to ‘give back’ to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives
