Responsibilities
The Commercial Manager – Business Development plays a critical role in driving BevChain's growth strategy. You will provide commercial leadership, oversee financial modelling and analysis, and ensure seamless handovers from new business to operational teams. Partnering closely with our Business Development team, you will support the creation and execution of new business strategies while working with and influencing a high-performing commercial team. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of BevChain's new business strategy and related planning processes.
- Influencing and developing the broader commercial team to deliver new business growth objectives.
- Overseeing financial modelling, analysis, and rate proposals to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Building and maintaining Bevchain standard pricing models and tools to support efficient customer engagement
- Establishing clear commercial handover protocols and contractual documentation to support a smooth transition to operations.
- Providing commercial support for tender responses, contract negotiations, and customer meetings.
- Monitoring competitor contract renewal status to identify opportunities 12–18 months in advance.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships across BevChain, Linfox, and with external customers.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (CA/CPA desirable).
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain operations, with a proven track record of achievement.
- Strong skills in budgeting, KPI performance review, reporting, and commercial modelling.
- Experience preparing CAM models, business cases, and board papers for approval.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with customers and senior executives.
- High-level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience managing a team of diverse and skilled professionals (highly desirable).
- Strong safety awareness, with the ability to assess risks and promote safe practices.
