The opportunity

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? As a Home Care Worker with UPA, you will support our clients to remain independent in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

UPA Home Care helps older people live independently by providing in-home services that meet their individual needs while promoting wellness, choice, and quality of life. We currently have multiple opportunities to join our team based in Pymble.

About the role

In this role, you’ll provide individualised, flexible, and high-quality care to people in the community, helping them maintain their independence and live well in their own homes. Your person-centred focus and attention to detail will assist us in recognising and responding to client needs as they evolve. Duties will include but not limited to:

- Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a person-centred approach as per the client care plan.

- Provide independence services such as showering, medications, transport or respite care.

- Provide everyday living services such as domestic assistance, gardening, shopping or meal preparation.

- Prompt and detailed reporting of client services.

- Recognising and reporting of client risk via our incident management system.

What you bring

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services is highly desired.

- Current Australian Driver's License and willing to travel.

- Registered and insured vehicle.

- Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Confidence in using technology.
