Right at Home Brisbane North and South provides high-quality in-home care servicing the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Aged Care Sector in the Brisbane Northern and Southern suburbs.

Do you have a passion for providing quality in-home care services? We currently have positions available for qualified, reliable, and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our team.
About the Role
You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You will also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference and be honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
You will be providing assistance in the home and in the community, such as:
- Transport
- Shopping
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Social and community access
What We're Looking For
- Availability Monday - Friday, Possibly weekend work
- Minimum 25 hours per week availability
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in aged care, disability, home & community care is a must.
- Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients.
- Knowledge of person-centred care principles and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Must be located and willing to travel up to 30mins within desirable areas.
- Must have a mobile smartphone and able to navigate through various applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Must have a valid driver license, access to a reliable car with fully comprehensive car insurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Valid National Police Check
- Updated First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain one
- Blue Card
The starting hourly rate is from $38.29 per hour + shift loadings + superannuation.
Guaranteed work hours available for candidates who have qualifications in aged care or disability work.
Ongoing support and supervision by our dedicated Care Coordination Team consisting of Enrolled and Registered Nurses.
