About the Opportunity
As a Senior Test/Business Analyst in our Web Applications team at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare by ensuring the delivery of intuitive, web‑based applications that support key stakeholders across NSW Health. You’ll play a pivotal role in quality assurance, testing, and backlog management, contributing to projects like the VCM Pro and supporting the ongoing digital transformation of health services.

In this role, you will:

- Lead and manage the timely completion of functional, integration, and other testing activities, ensuring alignment with test plan requirements.
- Track, document, and report test defects and outcomes to maintain high standards of quality assurance across deliverables.
- Drive and prioritise the product backlog, including creation, refinement, and prioritisation of user stories and defects, in collaboration with stakeholders and the Senior Product Owner.
- Contribute to the VCM Pro project by completing individual tasks, collaborating with team members, and communicating any roadblocks.
- Provide expert advice on testing activities and ensure best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is internally referred to as Functional Applications Specialist – Web Applications.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

- Has extensive experience in preparing test scripts and conducting functional, regression, and integration testing activities.
- Demonstrates excellence in business process modelling (e.g. BPMN), requirements development, and project management.
- Brings strong experience in Agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Excels in communication, problem‑solving, and critical thinking.
- Can manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Preferably has qualification or certification as a product owner and/or Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Preferably has qualification or certification in software testing
- Preferably has previous experience in the health industry or a strong understanding of healthcare systems and stakeholder needs
