You have the power to shape things to make them better.**About the Role**Alcoa is seeking experienced HV Mobile Maintenance Electricians to join the team at our Huntly mine site. Your role will be to effectively maintain a fleet of Komatsu 730e-10 AC and DC drive haul trucks. This includes regular electrical servicing, component replacements, attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair in the workshop and field environment. OEM training and continual support will be provided to further develop your electrical knowledge. This opportunity is on a 2 days, 2 nights, 5 days off roster.Some of your duties will include:* Assist with electrical breakdowns and repairs on mobile equipment.* Statutory electrical testing and inspections of mobile plant.* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.* Providing technical support and guidance to other members of the team.* Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed.**What’s on offer*** Five weeks annual leave* Shift allowance* Secure, permanent and local employment without FIFO pressures* Provision of all your work clothing, PPE and tooling* Average working week of 36 hours**What can you bring to the role**To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HV Electrician, preferably in a similar industry or mining environment.* Formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.* HV switching ticket.* 3 years minimum experience on AC and DC Electric drive trucks.* Strong working knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.* Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.* Proven commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset.**Additional information*** Please note that applications close midday Australian Western Standard Time of the posting end date.* Interviews may progress prior to the closing date, although all applications will be considered.#LI-MU1**About the Location**Huntly is one of our two bauxite mines in Western Australia.
