In This Role, You Will

- Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor

- Ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities

- Maintain strict compliance with energy safety, workplace health and safety, mining regulations and other regulatory obligations

- Supervise the Installation, inspection, and testing of electrical components and systems in compliance with electrical standards

- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime

- Plan and execute regular preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure reliability and operational efficiency

- Supervise and lead team of electricians, apprentices and contractors providing guidance, support and technical expertise

- Scope, plan and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources

About You

- Unrestricted WA Electrical License

- Electrical Nominee or ability to obtain

- Apply First Aid/CPR & Low Voltage Rescue

- 3+ years Supervisory experience

- High Voltage Operators Accreditation

- Scheduled 26 certification

- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing and fault-finding control circuits

- Ability to mentor and lead a team of electricians

- Experience with Sandvik DD421 and DD421i jumbos and Sandvik DL421 and DL432i solos (desired)

- Understanding and knowledge of underground communication systems - leaky feeder, Wi‑Fi and fibre optic

- Sound knowledge and demonstrated understanding of AS/NZS electrical standard

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

- Proficient in using maintenance management systems (Experience in SAP is desirable) and Microsoft Office applications
