Located in the welcoming regional town of Forbes NSW , Jemalong Retirement Village is our 105-bed residential aged care home, and we are currently seeking a n experienced Nurse Manage r to join our team on a permanent full-time basis . This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion offering a rare chance to step into a well-established role with a strong foundation .We are looking for an experienced nurse manager professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for person-centred care, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.

In this leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our 105-bed, single level home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents. With a stable and fully staffed master roster , and a team committed to excellence, you will be supported to focus on operational and clinical leadership, quality improvement and community engagement. You'll foster a culture of warmth, respect, and excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services across clinical, administrative, hospitality, maintenance, and lifestyle functions.

You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team including 3 Care Managers, a Work p lace Educator, Administration Manager, Coordinators for Lifestyle, Pastoral Care, Maintenance and Housekeeping, and a committed team of nurses and carers. In addition, you'll have access to a Regional Manager and centralised support from HR, Recruitment , Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
- Operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider community

What you'll bring:

- Bachelor o f Nursing tertiary qualification
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 5 years of highly relevant employment experience in nurse leadership / management roles
- In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, strengthened standards, and AN-ACC processes
- Proven leadership in healthcare operations, including rostering and financial oversight
- A collaborative, compassionate leadership style and excellence communication skills
