Founded in 1999, Netwealth has grown rapidly, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages us to challenge the status quo. At Netwealth, our team is our greatest asset. We are a collective of passionate individuals dedicated to making life better for more Australians. Our values—Curious, Optimistic, Courageous, Collaborative, Agile, and Genuine—are the guiding principles that shape our decisions and define how we present ourselves to the world. Join us in our mission and become part of a team that not only envisions a better future but actively works to create it.
The Opportunity
As the General Manager – Marketing you'll lead Netwealth's marketing function and drive growth through strategic brand positioning, integrated campaigns and digital innovation. This is a senior leadership role with significant scope to shape the future of our brand and market presence.
You’ll join at an exciting time. Our brand research project is almost complete, and you'll own the delivery and execution, bringing creative interpretation to life. Leading a highly capable team, you'll have the resources and freedom to make a real impact.
You’ll set strategic direction, empower your team, and ensure marketing initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. You'll work closely with senior executives, influencing decisions on marketing strategy, brand positioning and growth priorities.
What you'll do;
- Lead and develop a mid-sized marketing team, building capability and driving high performance
- Deliver a refreshed brand strategy with creative freedom and strategic clarity
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across content, events, partnerships and digital channels
- Increase digital marketing investment with strong focus on ROI and data-driven decision‑making
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulations while maintaining creative effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cohesive, commercially effective marketing initiatives
- Build a culture of empowerment, accountability and continuous improvement
About you
You're an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in SaaS or technology-driven businesses. Financial Services experience is a bonus, but not essential. You fully embrace your team’s success, unlocking potential and fostering autonomy and confidence. You create an environment where people thrive, feel valued, and work together to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Skills and experience you'll bring:
- Senior marketing leadership, ideally in SaaS or tech environments
- Expertise in brand positioning and articulating products, features and benefits
- Strong digital marketing skills - data, ROI and metrics are second nature
- Ability to manage complex initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing, empowered teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
