As RocketDNA continues to expand operations across Australia, we are looking for energetic and dedicated drone pilots to join our team of professionals in the aerial survey and mapping space. This role entails the planning and execution of drone flights from a Remote Operating Centre in either Perth or Adelaide. This is a casual position with the option for flexible work, including night shifts and weekends. The ideal candidate will already have an IREX rating or BVLOS accreditation.

Responsibilities & Duties

(Including but are not limited to the below)

- Execute and supervise all allocated flights at the remote operating centre during a shift; including flight planning & tracking
- Accountable for the safe operation of each drone
- Confident with radio communication across aviation networks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Conduct aerial surveying and mapping tasks from the remote centre
- Process flight data and complete documentation
- Track & maintain all relevant flight and maintenance documentation
- Deliver quality professional services to our clients.
- Maintaining a high level of compliance within CASA regulations and requirements

Qualifications

The preferred candidate would have:

- Prior experience in the aviation industry - PPL or CPL would be an advantage
- Must have a drone license
- IREX Rating or BVLOS training– very beneficial

Experience

- Remote Operating Centre Experience – Very beneficial
- Willingness to grow, learn & work against a flexible schedule
- Right to work in Australia
