Overview

Pump Service Technician – $40–$50 per hour + RDOs + Ongoing Full-Time Work
Location: Western Suburbs – Service Based Role with Site Travel

We’re working with a highly respected business that delivers high-quality solutions in pumping systems and services. Due to continued growth, they’re now seeking an experienced Pump Technician to join their team in full-time, ongoing roles. This is a hands-on position ideal for experienced tradespeople who enjoy variety, autonomy, and solving technical challenges out in the field.

The Role

On Road Service Technician provides clients with exceptional services including installation, repair, and maintenance of pumps systems and services in line with national standards. Driving overall customer satisfaction and experience to maximise customer retention. Conducting and maintaining a high level of internal stakeholder collaboration with a customer focus to meet overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks in line with safety and national standards.
- Provide professional customer service support during field visits.
- Diagnose faults, determine solutions, and carry out commissioning, warranty, repair, and breakdown jobs.
- Understand customer requirements and provide recommendations and briefings.
- Complete repairs efficiently and cost-effectively, documenting all work in detail.
- Maintain accurate job reporting and documentation in CRM.
- Coordinate with office staff to meet customer needs.
- Operate vehicles safely and use field automation systems.
- Follow company field procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with other field service technicians to ensure high-quality job completion.
- Build strong relationships with customers and clients.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Promote core values of Excellence, Responsibility, Integrity, and Knowledge, taking 100% responsibility with zero excuses or blame.
- Participate in performance reviews, professional development, and annual training.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 certifications.

What You’ll Bring

- A relevant trade qualification (e.g. Plumbing, Electrical, Auto Electrical).
- A Grade or REL Electrical Licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar service or maintenance role.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check if required.
- Experience with fire panels or systems is a bonus but not essential.
