We are hiring for an AI Solutions Engineer to join our Business Applications team.
Purpose:
The AI Solutions Engineer is tasked to build and support AI-driven solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, and the Power Platform to enable Everyday AI adoption and deliver business value at scale.
As an AI Solutions Engineer, your role demands not only deep technical expertise but also a proactive, self-starting mindset. You are expected to lead initiatives independently, taking ownership in envisioning, designing, and implementing AI-driven solutions that leverage the full potential of Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
This role reports to the Head of Business Application and is expected to bring both a technical expertise, coupled with strong collaborative skills to work with diverse cross functional stakeholders across people and culture, marketing, commercial, product quality and international teams
This role will be based in any of our NSW work sites – Surry Hills or Warriewood Campus with an expectation to work at least 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and Deploy AI Solutions: Build and implement AI-driven applications, copilots, and automations using Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, and Power Platform to drive scalable business outcomes.
- Maintain and Enhance Power Platform Solutions: Support existing Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, ensuring performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose AI and Power Platform enhancements, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Prototype and Innovate: Experiment with emerging AI features to create proof-of-concepts, test integrations, and refine solutions based on user feedback.
- Documentation and Communication: Produce clear documentation including user stories, workflows, and technical specifications, making complex concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Governance and Best Practices: Ensure all solutions adhere to security, governance, and scalability standards, embedding Centre of Excellence principles.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Resolve issues across AI and Power Platform solutions, providing responsive support to business teams.
- Advocate for Digital Adoption: Promote Everyday AI and Power Platform usage through demos, knowledge sharing, and encouraging adoption across the organisation.

Who are you?
- Extensive experience delivering solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including advanced use of Power Apps in enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in Copilot Studio for building and extending copilots, with practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry for model deployment and orchestration.
- Solid work experience designing and implementing AI solutions that connect seamlessly with applications and data sources across the Microsoft ecosystem as well as external platforms and services.
- Strong understanding of solution governance, performance optimisation, and secure integration across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Track record of working directly with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into scalable and user-friendly technical designs.
- Ability to develop clear documentation for both technical and business audiences, supporting adoption and sustainability.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to stay ahead of emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and apply them to solve real business problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage complexity and deliver outcomes in iterative, agile ways.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to confidently engage senior stakeholders and explain AI-driven concepts in plain language.
