About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level React / React Native Developer to join our front-end team. You’ll play a key role in building high-performing, responsive web and mobile applications. This is an opportunity to work on varied, real-world projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain robust, responsive UI components using React.js and React Native
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver exceptional client solutions
- Review and optimise application architecture for performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across multiple platforms
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and standards

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js (React Native experience highly desirable)
- Strong experience with state management tools such as Redux or MobX
- Familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind, and Material UI
- Experience integrating APIs and working with RESTful services
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and an understanding of TDD principles
- Version control experience (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Bonus: Experience with performance optimisation and CI/CD pipelines
- Competitive salary: $85K – $100K + super, reviewed at 6 months
