About the Role We are seeking a Secondary Learning Support Teacher (Full-Time) to commence in Term 1 PD Week 2026 (20 January 2026) to provide the following support within the Learning Enrichment Team: - Develop, implement, and review Individualised Learning Plans for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring personalised support to promote academic success. - Conduct regular assessments, including diagnostic and standardised testing, to monitor student progress. - Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies that meet individual student needs. Provide guidance on effective differentiation techniques and inclusive practices. - Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and external specialists (e.g., speech therapists, psychologists) to ensure a collaborative approach to student support and wellbeing. - Provide direct learning support to students across Secondary grade levels (7-12), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges through targeted interventions and strategies. - Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education, and learning enrichment strategies. - Assist students in developing positive behaviours, self-regulation, and emotional resilience. - Assist in the management of the Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
