As a Civil Engineer in Water InfrastructureServices, you’ll play a key role inmaintaining and improving water supply and wastewaterinfrastructure that directly supports our thrivingcommunity. You’ll work alongside a supportive andprofessional team, reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer,to deliver maintenance and capital works programs, provideexpert technical advice, and ensure the highest engineeringstandards are achieved.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide technical advice and guidance toengineers, technical, and maintenance staff across waterand wastewater infrastructure projects.

Lead infrastructure assessments, delivermaintenance programs, and monitor performance againsttime and financial targets.

Contribute to capital works planning andbudget development.

Review and provide feedback onengineering designs and technical documentation toensure compliance with Council standards.

Advise on development applicationsrelating to water and wastewater networks.

Build strong relationships with internaland external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomesfor the community.

Champion safety, quality, and continuousimprovement within your team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced and motivatedengineer who is outcome-focused, technically strong, andpassionate about delivering sustainable water solutions.

Qualifications &Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil orEnvironmental Engineering (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years of relevant experiencein design, construction, and maintenance of water andwastewater infrastructure.

Registered Professional Engineer ofQueensland (RPEQ) – desirable (or eligible forregistration).

WH&S Competency Card (or willingnessto obtain prior to commencement).

Additional certifications (Working atHeights, Confined Space Entry) are advantageous.

Excellent organisational and analyticalskills with a focus on results.

Strong communication and stakeholderengagement abilities.

Proven experience managing projects,priorities, and workflows.
