Work under the supervision of senior chefs, such as the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef, to prepare and cook menu items.

Food Preparation:

Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, and cutting fruits, meats, and vegetables.

Cooking Duties:

Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to business standards and recipes.

Ensure workstations and kitchen areas are clean, sanitized, and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations including temperature control checks and following FIFO procedures.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in the ordering and storage of supplies.

Learning and Development:

Continually develop culinary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality meals and advance within the kitchen hierarchy.

Adhering to Safety Standards:

Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment. Report any incidences to the Head Chef.

Assisting with Deliveries:

Help with the acceptance and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures.

Work as part of a team to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently
