What does the job look like?

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially focused Site Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations in Botany. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of site operations, including ASRS automated warehouse systems while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You’ll oversee a team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and manage warehouse operations, including ASRS automated systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes for Linfox and our customer.
- Take full P&L responsibility, overseeing budget, resource, and capital planning, and delivering regular performance reporting and analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing, reviewing, and updating warehouse procedures and practices.
- Build and maintain strong customer partnerships, meeting or exceeding service expectations.
- Support team development, succession planning, and goal alignment.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, HACCP/BRC/Food Safety, and cleaning practices.
- Champion a safe working environment, attend safety meetings, and ensure incidents are reported and investigated.
- Act as the key point of communication between Linfox, customers, unions, employees, and contractors.

- Experience in third-party logistics services, with direct staff supervision and customer service experience.
- Experience managing ASRS automated warehouse operations.
- Strong financial acumen and demonstrated P&L responsibility.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, business management practices, and relevant legislation (OH&S, chain of responsibility, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams, driving positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
